Cheryl :)

Hello everyone, I'm Cheryl. I'm currently at Anniesland college studying a HNC Working With Communities. My course includes group work theories, values and principles of community work, sociology, youth work, adult learning and capacity building. My interest within the course is youth work. Within my local community I do a varity of work with different age groups ranging in age between 5-18 years old. In addition to the work I do on a weekly basis, I have been involved in many summer activities and trips with the young people.

One of my main hobbies is to watch and play football, I go to support my team on a weekly basis. Once a week I am involved in a football match where the volunteers at the youth club verse the young people. To help me relax I like to watch films, I have over 300 DVDs but never get the time to watch any of them! I enjoy listening to music, I don't really mind what I listen to but do like Meat Loaf, Bon Jovi and most of the music from the 80's. I like to spend time with my friends and family, going shopping and going to the pictures.
